No linings to replace and no stress with our dogs. Also, a fiberglass pool is constructed offsite and in 1 day Artistic Pools had this large pool excavated for and put in the ground. I cant even imagine having it take months to have a concrete or vinyl pool constructed on-site in my backyard. It still is a process, as after it went in, the electricians come 2 days later, the pool is given time to settle, the concrete surround is poured, the pool equipment is started, pool cleaned up, and you get a tutorial. During this time, CLC landscape company was installing a large drainage system, related to having a pool, that my town required, then got paver path and patio built. Its a process. So going with a fiberglass pool was a great move, shortened the overall lengthy process of doing a pool, and I can tell you it is a well designed durable pool and at much less cost than a concrete pool. In the planning and install process, it was clear that Artistic Pools has this down to a science. We opted for LED lights and an automatic pool cover. Artistic Pool uses Pennco Automatic covers. They also use their high end level step on lid automatic cover, which we didn't even know I would get when we signed contract. Its a great automatic cover that comes with a high quality pump that you put on top of cover when closed so it drains off water when it rains. Its a solar cover also and keeps the heat in, so we are still using the pool in September by covering it during cool times of day. Its also a great safety feature for our dogs and grandchild. You can use it as a winter cover, but we opted to get a separate standard winter cover, because you got to worry about allowing snow to accumulate and remain on cover according to the Pennco installer. We want a worry free winter. Jenea who helps and handles the permit process is a gem. Mike handles operations and, thank you, it was tight to get this large pool around side of house to lower yard level and it wasn't easy. You got it down tight side yard along house, over fence, along existing retaining wall and safely installed without hitting or damaging any of this property while I held my breath. Talk about patience and precision for you and your staff. What could be improved? First, weI opted for the Hayward Omnilogic app, which let's us control the setting on the filter, heater, and led lights from our phone, a great feature. For this, the electrician installed an ethernet cable that went through the trenches dug from pool equipment to our house, and while using a direct burial cable (designed to go underground) for this purpose it should be installed through conduit. Our ethernet cable failed within 1 month and because it wasn't installed in conduit, an electrician we had to hire, could not just push a new cable through conduit. We had to dig a new trench to our house, displacing pavers that had to be reinstalled, and, of course, this time the cable went through conduit. Eventually a direct burial cable will wear underground and we would have hit this high expense, but we caught this shortfall of quality work, because it failed early. This cost us a lot of money. On this, you can do better. Have your electrician use conduit for installing the direct burial ethernet cable. Now because we have done a new install in conduit, we can rethread a new cable through it easily if it ever fails. Still I give you a 5 star reviews. Large project and 1 thing went wrong. Pics tell it all!
I didn’t have a clear vision at first—I just knew I wanted a pool. Mike was incredibly patient and flexible, coming out to my home multiple times to help me visualize different options and layouts. Every time I changed my mind, he was there to walk me through it without hesitation. Sherene handled all the paperwork and permits, making the process completely stress-free. All I had to do was pick them up—zero headache. Mark was consistently informative and kept me updated on the progress. And August—he’s on speed dial! With an in-ground pool, there’s always something new to learn, and he’s been an invaluable resource throughout. I am beyond pleased with my investment. My best advice to anyone considering Artistic Pools is simple: trust the process. They care about your investment just as much as you do, and you will not be disappointed.
