Step 1:  Fiberglass Pool installation Questions and what to expect!

Mike Neri        609-685-0616  (Vice President Artistic Pools)

Craig Schaal:  856-287-3222  (VP of Sales and Pool install manager)

Mike and Craig will arrive with our team at your property usually between 7 am and 7:30 am.  At this time Mike and Craig will need to spend approximately 30 minutes confirming the Pool Location and the best location for the Pump and Filter.  Once we have this planned out our crew will then begin to excavate for the the Pool.  Usually, the Pool will show up between 9 am and 11 am.  Having installed well over 1,500 Fiberglass Pools during our Career please know our crew installs every Pool like it’s our own.  Please note customer must have a check for the water company on the day of install for 1 to 3 loads of 6,500 gallons each load.  Depending on the size of your pool the cost can range from approx. 650 for 1 load and approx 1,950 for up to 3 loads for the larger Pools.  Also, at the end of the installation day you will have a complete Pool in the ground, Full of water, backfilled and all pool equipment plumbed on the equipment pad.  Please make sure you have the second payment on the contract in Check or Cash at the end of the day.  Mike Neri or Craig Schaal will sit down with you at the end of the day to collect payment and to provide you with your San Juan pool warranty paperwork.   Once your pool project is secure with proper Pool code fencing the customer must call the twp to set up a Final building, Final Electrical and Final Plumbing inspection to obtain a Final Certificate of Occupancy.  Once you have your COA please email this to mark@artisticpools.us

Step 2:  Electrician questions and what to expect

Paradise Solar and Electrical. 609-801-2420 (Owner Jeffrey Perez)  Now that your Pool is installed it’s time for the Electrician to come in and do their work.  Please note that the electrician will need to have access to your electrical panel.  Please make arrangements to be home the day they arrive.  Mike Neri or Craig will usually have the electrician scheduled when they see you during the installation.  He will communicate with you on your scheduled Electrical date which is usually within 2 to 14 days of your Pool install.  If Electrical work was part of your contract Artistic includes up to a 50 ft run from your Panel to pump and filter location.  If the electrical run is longer than the 50′ included on the contract we will get billed at the 12.00 per ft listed on the contract for additional run above the 50′.  We will inform you if there was an additional electrical run and will bill you through Client Portal.

Step 3:  Township Hydro, Electrical Trench and Bonding inspections

  Mark Peditto 609-352-7069 (President)

Once the Plumbing and electrical work is complete Artistic Pools will call in for the inspections right away.  In a best case scenario they will come out within a couple of days to a week.  That’s what we hope for but from experience a lot of townships are sharing inspectors and they are only available a couple of days a week.  We always get the 1st available day so we keep the ball rolling and can move on to setting up and pouring your concrete pool deck. You will receive notifications through our client portal when inspections are set.  You do not need to be home for these inspections.  You only need to be present the final inspections once you call at the end of project.

Step 4:  Concrete deck set up and pour

Mike Neri 609-685-0616 (Concrete questions or Changes)

Scott Renteria 856-685-8846 (Artistic Pools Concrete Foreman)  Once the electrical inspection passes we can then set up and Pour your concrete.  Please communicate with Mike Neri on the day of your Pool install to let him know what Style of Concrete (Standard Brushed or Stamped Concrete) you plan on doing.  Also you will want to communicate any additional concrete above the 3′ that is included on the contract so we are prepared for the setup.  At the end of the first day once your pool is installed Mike or Craig will Paint out your desired concrete design and let you know what the additional costs will be associated with the additional concrete style and square footage.  FYI if you plan on doing let’s say an a total of 1,000 sq/ft of Stamped Concrete the cost would be 1,000sq/ft @ 19.00 sq/ft (-1,000 credit on the 3′ of brushed concrete included on your contract for a total of 18,000.00.  Now if you plan on doing a 1,000 sq/ft of brushed concrete and 3′ is included on let’s say a larger pool that has 100 linear ft around at 3′ or 300 sq/ft you will pay the additional 700 sq/ft @ 14.00 for a total of 9,800.00.  Payment for Concrete decking is due at the end of the concrete Pour day.  Payment can be made to our Concrete foreman Scott Renteria made out to Artistic pools Corp.

Step 5:  Sawcut and Clean Concrete

A team member from Artistic Pools will return usually the following day to Sawcut additional expansion Joints into your concrete decking.  If you are getting Stamped concrete then we would need to Sawcut and Clean the concrete which depending on weather could be a 1 or 2 day process.  it is imperative to stay off the concrete decking until it’s completely cured after our crew is finished usually a few days.  Please keep Adults, Kids and animals off of the freshly poured concrete for a few days minimum.

Step 6: Pool School (Orientation)

August Schwenker 717-650-4797  The final step in the process will be to learn how to operate and maintain your new Fiberglass Pool project.  It is best if both Husband and Wife can get the training together but does not have to be the case.  Usually the training will only take up about an hour of your time.  Our systems are fairly simple to operate.  Also there is a ton information on youtube and our Blog for properly maintaining your new Fiberglass Pool.

Note: End of the year Safety Cover purchases and Pool closings are all done in our client portal where you can order safety covers and schedule service.  Please do not call for these services as you will receive communication starting early July to begin this process on the request service link here…  https://artisticpoolscorp.com/schedule-service/
