San Juan Fiberglass Pools
The backfill for the pool bottom shall consist of structurally stable sand or pea gravel up to a maximum of 3/8- inch (9.53 mm) diameter and compacted to match the pool floor profile. The pool shell shall sit firmly on compacted backfill and be within 1 inch (25.4 mm) of level. Water-fill and backfill simultaneous operations shall commence with backfill washed in with water. Backfill level and water-fill level shall be approximately the same throughout filling procedure.
