After floating around you tube I came across a really nice video from pool guy supply where they demonstrate how to properly clean a salt water generator.  Cleaning the cell is very easy and should be done in the middle of the season and at the end of the season when the pool is being closed.  This way when you are ready to open your pool in the spring your Salt Generator is ready to operate at its fullest potential.  Please look at the video provided below to learn how to properly clean the salt cell of calcium deposits.
